Climate, immigration, resources, population, cultures: what could the sleep of the demographic–economic reason produce?
Contrary to what is suggested by media release, African sub–arid belts are becoming both wetter and greener. African emigration does not depend on climate, but depends on overpopulation. Generally, economic as well as demographic studies often neglect the basic data of population density. In the Italian case, food import dependence is growing. Alarms about population decrease don’t take into account the option of a higher ratio between resources and population. Birth control represents a care for the generations to come. Nowadays on the contrary, the intentional high birth rate shows a conquering strategy that distinguishes the fanaticism of a few cultures.
